Vegan brownie with carob


Flour: 1,5 cup

4 tablespoons of carob

Honey: 200 grams

Vanillin: to taste

Vegetable oil: ¼ cup

Water: 200 ml

Two tablespoons of strong coffee

Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon

Yeast powder: ⅓ teaspoon

Nuts: 75-80 grams

Rum: 1 teaspoon

Cooking method

Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees Celcius. Mix flour and carob (add 3-4 pinches of black salt if you want). Whip water with vegetable oil, rum, brewed coffee, and honey. Pour the liquid into a dough mixture, add vanilla and yeast (mixed with lemon juice), and stir. The last step is to add ground nuts, place the dough in the baking dish and bake in the oven for 50 minutes.
