The Savvas Pottery workshops is in the village of Yeroskipou near Paphos. It is one of Cyprus’ oldest and most famous workshops. It is also the only workshop on the island that produces its own unique coloured glazes for ceramics.

The workshop mostly produces kitchen utensils. The wares they make are all modern life-proof: their dishes can be put in the microwave or gas oven, and be put in the dishwasher. The workshop produces about 120 tons per year. The raw materials used in the production process are purchased from all over Europe.

There’s also a chance for you to learn how to throw pots on a potter's wheel. There are both individual lessons and group session for up to 5 people available.

It costs 50€ per hour. Check the workshop's website for more info about the cost of materials, design, firing and glazing.
